We are on final approach for Saturday's Charity Car Show! Below are three announcements and action items that need member participation and awareness.
Display of cars in Bridge Street Mall area: We need 9-12 cars to display in the mall area of Bridge Street during the show. We currently have 6 signed up. We have done this in previous years as part of the show and need members to volunteer their cars. You have the option of sitting with your car if you feel the need to monitor it. Many feel it is no different than leaving un-monitored their car in a mall parking lot while shopping. We already have a good representation of C5s signed up so are looking for other generations, especially earlier generations. Click here for the online sign up form. Contact Tom Tenner if you have questions. Tom will be handling the parking of the cars in the mall on the day of the show, please park near the DSW shoe store Saturday morning as the pre-staging area.
Saturday's weather: The show is a rain or shine event. With the Bridge Street location we have a use of the lower level parking garage in the event of rain. We will still need all our volunteer help regardless if we are outside on the upper deck or under cover in the lower parking garage. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for good weather though.
Final organizing meeting: The last organizing meeting is on Wednesday at Las Trojas restaurant. This is the meeting where we stuff the show goody bags, so many hands make light work. Even if you weren't on the committee, consider coming out, have a bite to eat and help with the bags.
