Follow up to SSG Christopher Walker Benefit

For those of you who were unable to attend the fundraiser In Decatur on Saturday, June 25 for SSG Chris Walker yesterday, you missed what this Club is all about. It was again very humbling to see such a remarkable young kid; yes, kid, as most of us have children older than he is, with a tremendous outlook. He hopes his future will be teaching, but only four months since his injuries, he has a long road of rehabilitation.

I would be surprised if they reached their goal of $40,000 to help equip a home for he, his wife and child. If you didn't yesterday, and would like to personally contribute, make a check out to the SSG Chris Walker Fund. You can send them to our post office box, Vets with Vettes, P. O. Box 51, Madison, AL 35758, and arrangements will be made to get them to Ms. Brown in Decatur who organized the event yesterday. Your contribution is tax deductible.
