UPDATED DETAILS:The event for SSG Walker has changed it's format. Chris will be coming for the event. The organizers have now ask us to escort Chris to the VFW. A parade permit has been requested and we need to know how many cars we'll have? They have limited to twenty cars so if you haven't signed up yet please do so. The first twenty will be in the Parade and the rest will need to go on to the VFW. The cars in the parade will not have to pay the entry fee.
If you plan on participating, sign-up now so we can provide a car count for the parade.

We have been asked by the Decatur VFW Post 4190 to attend/static display at the benefit they are holding for SSG Christopher Walker.
From their flyer:
 | April 24th an IED explosion in Afghanistan left SSG Christopher Walker critically injured and fighting for his life. Doctors had to amputate the 28 year olds arms and one of his legs above the knee.
Christopher is now at Walter Reed Medical Center where his Family reports he is making significant strides in his therapy. By staying strong, keeping a positive attitude and success in his therapy he is working toward his release - into a home of his own.
THIS WILL TAKE A MAJOR REMODELINGTO ACCOMODATE HIS LIMITATIONS.
